Born and raised in Rockford, IL, MARCU$ AURELIUS has had a love for music ever since he was a child. Growing up around music like Earth, Wind and Fire, Luther Vandross, Al Green and Marvin Gaye among many other artists he gained knowledge of the soul that goes into music and began using music as his main outlet to the things life threw his way. Not necessarily having it bad but not easy at the same time, MARCU$' father instilled in him the drive and determination that it takes to succeed in life, he saw his dream and started on a path the would lead him to his destiny. From freestyling with local artists and studying the art of Hip Hop he began to develop skills and knowledge at an early age. Through the years what seemed as a hobby became a hustle. In the early 2000's MARCU$ was featured on Mafia Productions first mixtape where people started to see that he had something to share with the world that was worth listening to, something people could relate to. Focusing not only on the music side of this industry he began to develop a love for the business aspect as well. Engineering became the next step in his journey. Attending the Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood, CA in 2010, everything began to fall into place. In August of 2010 MARCU$ AURELIU$ started COLOSSEUM ENTERTAINMENT GROUP from scratch, working out of his apartment in Hollywood with the support of knowledgeable and dedicated friends and fellow engineers/artists. Interning for Ray Ruffin (Son of Jimmy Ruffin of the Temptations) he began to learn the process of maintaining a successful company. He released his mixtape My Life VOL. 1 (Available at www.datpiff.com) late 2010 and has not stopped recording hits such as "When I Get Home", "Aint No Sunshine", "Never Change" and "Eventually" since. In March of 2011 MARCU$ was introduced to, his now partner in this game, Stephun. Stephun was born and raised in Chicago and relocated to Freeport, IL in 1998. The music chemistry was instant and almost overnight the first part of the new COLOSSEUM team was formed. Stephun had been in the game for many years as an R&B SInger/Songwriter/Producer and Rapper and was ready to make that leap into stardom. Not long after COLOSSEUM's head producer Blaize blessed the team with his original and infectious sound with every instrumental he ran through the speakers. The three of them have been grinding day in and day out with countless hours in the studio making hits such as "SEE ME WIN", Kelly Rowland's "Motivation (Remix)", "All About You", "This Is Life", "Mister" and many, many more.
